Data is changing our world – and the way we capture it, manage it and use it is central to enabling the changes that we want to see. I’m passionate about how technology and well managed business processes such as Data Governance and Stewardship can unlock value, and how simplifying and clarifying how we operate can help enterprises to change their business models.I’m an experienced IT professional whose career has covered a range of disciplines including programme management, data management, business process change, systems design, project management, information security, enterprise messaging systems and IT infrastructure management. My roles have typically had a global scope and have been based in the UK and Russia in both IT and R&D contexts. I thoroughly enjoy working with dispersed teams across different countries.I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with great teams, and I try to bring positive energy and a sense of perspective and collaboration to the teams I have managed. Outside of work I have a lot of interests and hobbies. These include being a committee member and regular contributor/presenter to the Numismatic Society of Nottinghamshire. I love travel and learning about different countries and cultures. I read extensively on a variety of topics. I also enjoy cooking and baking. But most importantly I like to spend time with my family.
