Asset Management and Fleet Management As the Equipment Table Manager I was responsible for a logistical and equipment needs of a busy Regiment, in Unit lines and on Operations overseas. Part of this role was to ensure the equipment required by the Regiment to carry out its role was maintained to the highest standard by ensuring equipment was current and up to date with the latest technology. Managing the Vehicle fleet and the smooth transferring to platforms to other units and planning of movement and receipts and issues of said platforms. Movement of equipments from Barrack location in to Operation locations such as Afghanistan or Iraq, with movement governed by sea or air. all relevant paperwork and authorities had to be adhered to and time appreciation monitored. forecasting of equipments for calibration or servicing events was closely monitored and the use of the JAMES System to move and track Equipments.

Fercilities Managment (SQMS)Squadron Quatermaster Sergeant has a number of roles with in the Squadron. Single Soldiers Accommodation is run day to day with over 200 bed spaces spread over 3 floors and 40 rooms, this includes Ablutions and Laundry Facilities and storeage areas along with Attic and Cellar spaces. the managment and upkeep falls to me and my team to ensure all faults and damages are reported and rectified in a timely mannner, liasing with the Contractors on site (Babcock International) to forcast and plan any maintenance events.Facilities Management (SQMS)Squadron Quartermaster Sergeant has a number of roles with in the Squadron. Managing one of the largest Equipment Tables the British Army had seen at that time, covering every technical equipment within Camp Bastion and its forward locations. this ranged from Weapon Systems to Helicopter parts for JHFA. heading up a 30 strong team to ensure every need of the fighting end was catered for, this included the very difficult task of forecasting and maintenance of over 20 Sub units. the responsibility of ensuring a smooth transition between changing Battle Groups was paramount to the Operational Effectiveness and overall accountability of Equipments and Weapon Systems.
