Having built my career at MasterCard, I have broad experience and a deep understanding of the payments industry and the network business model, and am a leader in payments economics, products and technologies for both the issuing and acceptance businesses.Most recently I managed product and service economics comprising interchange and pricing strategies and proposals; end-to-end network and value-chain economic analyses; and product development and management. I also co-authored four patent filings.Prior to that, I managed all aspects of network interchange including the development, analysis, implementation and publication of interchange rates and programs. I represented the network in numerous interchange-related lawsuits, depositions and trial testimonies, as well as responses to regulatory challenges globally.I was also asked to build a competitive intelligence and strategy function where I designed and implemented an infrastructure to track, manage, communicate and respond to changes to the competitive environment. Early in my career, I also held a variety of other positions in the finance and marketing areas. I was one of the founding members of an acceptance group where I managed all aspects of the Direct Marketing acceptance channel, and evaluated and improved the cardholder and merchant experience and service quality.
