About Steven Joseph Torresan

Hello, and welcome. I have a past career i.t. it where I was network and systems admin. I owned a small computer repair and assembly business before I was 20 years old.In my early 20s (mid-late '90's) Toronto was a very different place. Toronto's party scene was at its apex. It was a lot of fun oh, and there were a lot of drugs.I did the same ecstasy and acid that my buddies did and we all became more or less delusional over time.I ended up in CAMH. FOR 2.5 YEARS.I got out, but I had not used my brain in over two years, so life was difficult. You see, all I did was sleep. I had been over-medicated.I started working out again. I had always loved working out. But now I had a stomach. I felt weak and intimidated by the weights I struggled to lift up, the same weights I heaved so often in my past. But you know what?I'm blessed. I've come so far, I've gotten a paralegal diploma, I am in executive roles at prestigious non-profit social service organizations on Toronto. Hell, I even went and got my personal training certificate!Miracles can happen. I'm living proof! As disparaging as it sounds, life is an endless game of leaping over hurdles. What hurdles have you set for yourself lately? They can be big, or small. What's your passion? Don't know what your passion is? Do something spontaneous that you've never done before! Paint. Go to a library. Take a walk in nature. Please don't rely on addictive social media platforms or television to occupy your time. Play with your pet. Play with your children. Play with your parents. Amen.
