My role as Logistics Manager is to effectively improve and manage inventory control and supply chain processes. My core responsibilities include: inventory purchasing, importation and shipping logistics, inventory costing and pricing, and implementation of inventory control techniques. My role at Hirsch Precision often extends to other duties such as marketing plan development and implementation, business development, strategic planning, sales/account management, customer service, and various marketing tasks including promotions, social media, print ads, email marketing, etc.

As Research Coordinator at NSBI, I helped businesses in Nova Scotia learn more about potential export opportunities by developing detailed, in-depth market/industry reports in such industries as ICT, aerospace & defense, automotive, agriculture, medical technology, hygiene products, etc.Other projects and tasks included updating monthly economic reports, researching incentive programs for businesses in Nova Scotia, researching market and economic data to support internal strategies, and other general research tasks.

Promoting entrepreneurship in the province, my work term with Canada Business Network included updating the Canada Business Network's website, promoting CBN's services on Facebook, updating communications documents, and conducting secondary market research for entrepreneurs.

Provided administrative support to the Regional Director's Office. Assisted in administering and updating monthly budgets, inputting monthly travel expenses, ensuring management had up to date signing authority, tracking performance of departmental procedures and ensuring staff were aware of new policies.
