I've had a variety of roles in IT and development for over 9 years at the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana. These positions have presented interesting and challenging tasks each and every day, keeping me learning and growing in the field of IT and computer science as I have worked here. I have also worked as a graduate assistant at IU teaching a range of courses from introductory anthropology to public speaking, and as a parking enforcement officer with the City of Bloomington. While these positions may seem unrelated, the core principles of resolving emergent issues with novel dynamic solutions links them and learning the skillset to tackle these types of problems has become the basis of who I am as an individual. The multi-disciplinary training and creative problem solving from these disparate jobs has helped prepare me for the ever-changing nature of the cybersecurity landscape as much as the hard skills learned within the IT world itself.
