I am Steven Lang, currently a Community Peace Officer with Yellowhead County. My focus is generating voluntary compliance with Municipal Bylaws and Provincial Acts through relationship building and education. This has further built on my experience filling a variety of roles as part of the team at MacCon Public Safety, as the Provincial Emergency Response Unit Manager, Alberta College of Paramedics licensed Emergency Medical Responder on the Medical Unit and, as a Field Training Officer on both the Mobile and Dispatch Units. I was also a Verbal Judo - verbal de-escalation tactics, Basic Officer Safety and Professional Standards Instructor with their Training Unit. I continue to work to pursue a dynamic law enforcement career.
