Summers of 2008 and 2010, worked as sail crew on commercail catamarans with up to 76 passengers. As a marine naturalist, I educated passengers about marine life through presentations and instructed proper free-diving techniques. While on-board the catamarans, supervised and acted as a lifeguard among the guests (CPR/AED and First Aid Certified for children and adults).Private "Kids Trips" excursions on the boats entailed teaching groups of nine to fifteen teenagers seamanship, how to sail, how to tie knots, and much more while living on the boats for up to four days at a time.
