Key aspects of this role included:• Business partnering with Operations for the end of life process in getting vehicles prepared for disposal.• Weekly calls with the out service centres to ensure any problems were identified and rectified quickly and escalated where necessary. • Worked with an external consultant to create a report using information downloaded from Ryder’s software to give the company more accurate statistics relating to the true costs to prepare our vehicles for sale.• Production and presentation of a selection of the management accounts for the end of life vehicle process.• Responsible for forecasting vehicle out servicing costs including investigating variances.

Key aspects of this role included:• Acting as Finance business partner for a system change project.• Responsible for producing multiple balance sheet reconciliations including the accounting for prepayments and accruals.• Production of management accounts for the Rental product line• Calculation of the commission payments for approximately 50 employees.• Involvement in all elements of the Rental product line forecasting including quarterly forecasts, annual business plans and longer term strategic outlooks.
