Responsible for procuring materials for the manufacturing and shipment of new and overhauled nuclear aircraft carriers/submarines, negotiating price/shipment terms for low and high dollar value purchase orders, managing the process, and organizing the delivery of materials to fulfill a procurement order. Schedule materials shipments, and authorize payments to vendors. Strong familiarity with FAR and DFAR requirements as they relate to U.S. Navy DoD contracts and sub-contracts, as well as a strong knowledge of DPAS ratings.
