As heritage travel advocates, we drive tourism through the Heritage Trail Regions, stimulate local businesses, and support preservation efforts. My role with Authentic Texas has grown from contract senior art director in October 2019, delivering publication design, layout organization and construction, project management, and production. In July 2020, I designed and developed our web presence at authentictexas.com and continue managing and operating that entity for the company today. In 2023, I've taken over a larger role as business development and design direction for the magazine, website, merchandise store, and other media vehicles.

As Creative Brand Manager, my primary responsibility is holding the big picture of the look and feel of the Banyan brand. Pushing the design forward, helping the brand evolve, while also maintaining consistency and quality.I created the overall brand style guide, used by internal teams and external partners. I also lead the design on new product ventures and projects, design original marketing pieces, completing initial designs and creating the core functionality of a new project while providing feedback to other designers during production. Within a small team, I'm responsible for creating and sourcing full marketing and publication print designs, creating and directing photography, developing After Effects animations, designing and coding web templates and email campaigns, as well as developing and designing new product packaging and packaging redesigns.

As the Senior Designer at SWAPA, I am responsible for maintaining the brand guidelines through external comm to the public and internal comm to our 6,000 pilots. We recently launched our own pilot lifestyle iPad magazine, RANGE, which we designed and developed in-house. In addition to a monthly newspaper and print communication pieces, I am in the process of redesigning the union's web site.

As a part of American Airlines Custom Publishing Group, I designed and directed layout for several of the group's clients including Hilton Caribbean, Fort Worth Convention & Visitor's Bureau, and Medical City. I designed layouts, directed photography and illustration, and shot photography for each clients' publication.

Directed, developed concepts, and managed marketing and design projects for 215-store book chain. Created new and compelling promotional sign packages for the stores within the brand concept for book and cafe merchandising. Developed a new printing and store delivery process to get kits to stores cheaper and more efficiently. Directed and developed concepts for a new email marketing intiative. Developed concepts and directed new gift card designs. Directed packaging designs for proprietary and café products. Directed and executed product and retail photo shoots. Was responsible for creating layouts and graphics for client projects and carrying them through production art, shooting product photography, developing html layouts, interfacing with outside vendors, and purchasing and supporting Apple products in Creative Department.
