If I wrote a book about my career the title would be “Why I Still Mop Floors - A Love Story”Humor me here. On a fated day in 2003, I started my career in the veterinary field as a receptionist. I spent my days filing charts, & mopping, talking to clients, & mopping, answering phones, & mopping, entering data, & mopping. I think you get the point! Along with developing exceptional mopping skills, I developed a curiosity for all things veterinary medicine & a passion for people. Today, as a Learning & Development Manager, I dedicate my time to creating memorable learning experiences through in-person & virtual facilitation, instructional design & content creation. I regularly use platforms such as Articulate 360 - including Rise & Storyline, PowerPoint, Canva, Vyond & Wondershare, amongst others, to craft a fully immersive learning environment. Of course, my passion for the custodial arts has only flourished over the years! Each week before the arrival of my new group of learners I make sure to mop my site because I want them to see just how far a mop, a creative spirit & a little hard work can get you.
