I currently work as a CRM Marketing Executive at Tesco Bank, focusing on cross sell and welcome activity with the aim of making our customer journeys as smooth and streamlined as possible. I am seeking to secure a marketing managerial position to practice and progress my leadership and management skills.In my current role, I deploy monthly multi-channel marketing campaigns to our customer database, using smart segmentation with dynamic creatives to help drive engagement. In my role with the college, I worked with the business development team and helped the college engage with commercial clients to help deliver professional training. While working at the college, I studied and passed my Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Professional Marketing Diploma. This has allowed me to further develop my professional knowledge in marketing strategy, metrics and digital marketing planning. I achieved a second class honours 1st division in my Marketing with Digital Media course providing me with core knowledge in marketing and with industry-standard digital media tools. My multidisciplinary degree has allowed me to appreciate and understand the functions of both marketing and design, in order to effectively coordinate and assist in both disciplines. I have experienced applying skills gained from my education within an unpaid internship with the Youth Theatre of Arts Scotland. This led to me staying an extra month and given paid work due to the staff being impressed with my work and input. I also have five years of experience in the customer service industry at Tesco. Being in a supervisory role in a fast-paced retail environment has helped me to develop fast thinking and customer awareness. During this role I was given a promotion due to the recognition of my tenacity to succeed within the workplace, along with various awards for my customer service and employee of the month.
