About Steve Mann

I am a technology-enabled M&A advisor who helps clients find new opportunities through analytics. Prior to launching Propel32, I built and led M&A analytics teams at PwC in New York and Toronto where I spent over 10 years delivering projects for private equity and corporate clients. I co-founded Propel32 to deliver an M&A analytics solution to an underserviced middle market.My teams help clients leverage analytics in all stages of the investment lifecycle. During buy side diligence we are focused on validating our client’s investment theses and creating clarity around key growth assumptions. After transaction close, we help clients quickly capture synergies identified during diligence and create actionable insights to support ongoing value creation initiatives. We help prepare the business for sale and add confidence in the sale process by validating the equity story with robust analyses while finding and supporting new pro forma adjustments for bidders to consider.I have a traditional finance/accounting background that is complemented by a passion for analytics. The use of innovative technology and alternative datasets allow me to develop deeper insights around the same commercial questions I’ve been answering throughout my career.
