In 1994, Steve started the organization with 5 employees and 5 long-term care facilities and grew operations to become an innovative leader in the field with 125 employees, serving more than 135 long-term care facilities today. Additional successes included opening an Adult Behavior Medicine Center at Merrimack Valley Hospital in 2003, the Center for Geriatric Psychiatry, at Wing Memorial Hospital in 2009 and The Garvin Center at Nashoba Valley in 2013. These 17-bed and 15-bed units provide cutting-edge,
progressive inpatient geriatric psychiatric care.In 2008, we expanded West Central Family and Counseling, a clinic providing top quality, mental health outpatient services to support anyone with emotional or behavioral problems. Since mental health problems are present in all populations, the clinic welcomes adults, elders, and families into the clinic. Through his shared passion, persistence, and determination as President & CEO, the clinic strives to help each patient achieve the highest level of function possible.
