I am a driven, passionate and determined construction professional. I started working in construction at a very young age with my father as his helper. What really motivates me the most is continual learning and growing. I also love any opportunity that I get to have a positive impact on someone's career or life in general. From a technical side, I love setting long, mid and short terms goals as well as creating the plan to achieve those goals. The process of setting the goals, identifying specific steps, establishing the metrics and evaluating performance is something that my mind gravitates to allowing me to put in tremendous amount of energy without even noticing. This really applies to any project that allows me to be creative and problem solve. I am very proud of the work that I did with HBW Construction leading their field operations group, which was a team of over 50 superintendents and associated field staff. Some key highlights from that time include creating the Senior Superintendent/Group Leader position, revamping the safety program and creating a central communication channel dedicated to field personnel. Above all else, I am most proud that our group consistently had the highest employee satisfaction and engagement results when surveyed. HBW also afforded me an opportunity to be one of the leaders of its HBW 2.0 (Change Management/Process Engineering) Initiative. We worked across departments to study the company's processes, identify areas of improvement, standardize and effectively implement revised processes. This experience paved the way for leading HBW's technology improvement initiative where we researched, vetted, tested and implemented a new project management software. I am also very proud of my time at Coakley & Williams Construction, Inc. where I had the opportunity to lead numerous base building projects in the private and public sectors. This created the foundation for my construction knowledge.
