 Lead for a team of electricians responsible for the operation and maintenance of hydro electronic generators, floodgates, and powerhouses. Experienced with medium voltage (11.5 – 13.8) metal clad switchgear and the associated safety requirements. Tasks include installing, removing, performing maintenance repairs, operational / diagnostic tests on electric motors, generators, floodgates, circuit breakers, condensers, transformers, switches, communications systems.

Responsible for training and leading the maintenance crew in performing functional and calibration tests.Analyze system alarms, printouts, performing complex and detailed repairs and maintenance of equipment.Verify work performed for preventative maintenance meets LCRA Standards and the equipment is operating correctly before releasing it into service.Lead the training of field crew in performing complex and detailed repairs on all 138kv and 345kv breakers Transformers and LTC’s. This includes performing all functional test needed to verify proper operation of the equipment and training the crew to use prints to analyze the system alarms on all breakers and transformers. Served as field subject matter expert to Engineering team, collaborating on complex repair issues for troubleshooting. Developed multiple Preventative Maintenance (PM) Templates for Substation Maintenance Personnel to use on various High Voltage Breakers using adhering to LCRA and Vendor Standards.
