As a Program Manager I am responsible for leading large multi-disciplinary engineering teams through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process of next generation automotive microcontrollers, and subsequently ramping the microcontroller product to entitlement yields and test times to achieve gross margin targets and achieve acceptable ROIs. My role encompasses the following:- Oversee delivery of new products from concept and definition phases, through development of hardware and software solutions, to final production ramp up of the system solution. - Technical semiconductor industry knowledge and understanding of key competitive differentiators for manufacturability, price, power, die size, and system performance.- Driving teams to achieve on time delivery - Driving world class levels of quality- Define schedules and resourcing for key deliverables- Anticipating and overcoming issues to positively impact key financial metrics including gross margin and EBITDA.

My role was situated within NXP’s centralised R&D team which was responsible for driving the planning and execution of advanced microcontroller and microprocessor related projects.Specifically, I managed the development of next generation advanced microprocessors for automotive applications. This role required me to act as a dynamic and influential leader and to find continuous improvements in NPI execution efficiency. Some of my responsibilities included:• Cultivated and promoted a strong team collaboration and Total Quality/first time right execution mindset across global cross-functional SoC core team and stakeholders.• Project managed fast-paced SoC developments, starting with architectural definition through post-silicon validation. • Solid working knowledge of SoC design functions• Proficiency to synthesize complex multi-dimensional project risks, proactively identify mitigation actions and implement timely resolutions.• Tracked and measured project KPIs and demonstrated solid stakeholder communication. • Establish successful relations with internal and external partners to identify and address software and hardware interdependencies to SoC design.

As an Applications Engineer with extensive focus in the automotive business, I have working knowledge of braking, body, networking and dashboard/cluster applications. I have vast experience with microcontrollers and microprocessors. My main duties were to maintain high levels of customer support, lead global/multi disciplinary teams in the validation of new products, generate top quality documentation and develop and deliver training material to promote the use of these new technologies. In this role I developed software skills and designed several digital and analogue evaluation boards.
