Steve is an extremely competent, dynamic and professional certified Journeyman Millwright, Welder and Senior Rotating Equipment Specialist covering more than 17 years of experience in mechanical and millwright services. His high level of knowledge allows him to coach and mentor the team, troubleshoot and analyze problems and identify solutions. He is routinely involved in new equipment installations from the early planning stages, commissioning start –up and implementation of preventative maintenance programs. This includes routine inspection and repairs of rotating equipment and complete refurbishment of rotating equipment of all manufacturers and sizes, preventative maintenance, precision levelling, grouting and laser alignments. Steve has attained formal on-the-job training from Fixture Laser and has performed laser alignments on equipment and motors up to 6,500 hp that weigh in excess of 37,000 lbs. Steve also brings with him extensive knowledge of machining practices and procedures both in shop and in field. Steve also has experience in performing field machining including milling bases, facing flanges, and deep hole drilling. Together with administration, Steve incorporates our extensive health, safety and environmental program into the daily working routine as it is a vital part of everyday business.
