Reporting to Chief Financial Officer and Executives.Responsible for the Property and Casualty technical result on a US GAAP and economic basis, group reporting for both Property and Casualty and Life and Health Companies, taxation for both Property and Casualty and Life and Health Companies, valued contributor to process and technical system improvement, trustee of Pension Fund, managing department of 6 ensuring high level of technical knowledge and mentoring, supervising development plans and activities.

Design of new General Ledger,integration of new operating system, integration of acquired company, design and rollout of Eva Model, design of business structure, design of head office structures,full budget responsibility, company tax returns, competitor analysis, group consolidation, database administration, provide business analysis tools and recommendations to operating management, preparation of annual statement in accordance to SA GAAP, develop and communicate guidelines to department head for developing annual business plan (pricing strategies, inflation rate, exchange rate, economic assumption, etc), oversee the development and compilation of division financials for Business Plan, monitor and provide monthly performance report versus budget and estimate.

Responsible for the full Financial Function, ensure internal controls are adequate and operating satisfactorily, ensure adherence to established policies and procedures of the Company, manage the following areas: Fixed assets, treasury, Intercompany, general ledger. Overall management of accounts, managing 9 accounting staff, management accounts on a monthly basis, statutory and parent company (UK) returns, production of quarterly financial statements, production of board papers, annual budgets, complete the annual budget using zero based budget techniques, company tax returns, entire taxation responsibility. VAT and Income Tax, insurance requirements of the group reviewed and updated.
