I’m an experienced Communications and Brand Specialist with a wealth of experience across Media Relations, Corporate and Crisis Communications, Internal Communications, Marketing, Digital and Brand Management – in both Commercial and NFP sectors. Creating content and optimising engagement to communicate with target audiences is at the heart of what I do. Ultimately, I am a storyteller, who is driven to understand my audience and seek innovative ways to weave authentic and captivating narratives to raise awareness for a cause, brand or campaign. Equally, I lead my team with momentum, by building a unified purpose and a clear, concise plan to achieve our goals, ensuring each team member is playing to their strengths. In my most recent role at St Vincent de Paul Society NSW, I led the state-wide marketing and communications strategies. I had the opportunity to provide support and build campaigns for all external-facing areas of the organisation – Retail (230+ shops), Commercial Enterprises, Vinnies Services, Fundraising and Membership. With my team, we advocated for those most vulnerable in our society on issues such as homelessness, domestic violence, disability and social housing.I have a strong track record of building strong relationships based on authenticity and genuine connection – not only with key external stakeholders but with people throughout the organisation. I initiated the Fremantle social committee to create a more positive environment for employees and have been actively involved in Humanise Health and Lymphoma Awareness campaigns, both as a spokesperson, and with media placement and social media coverage.
