As the Enterprise Storage manager, I was directly responsible for driving innovation and providing leadership with a roadmap. Using current global replication techniques provided a process that reduced analyst product completion from hours to minutes. Responsible for Developing a process allowing users to log in and access data no matter where they were within our global enterprise network. This accomplishment provided the same look and feel to the user whether in the United States or Southwest Asia. Responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of storage archiving, disk mirroring, capacity planning, migration strategies, and disaster recovery planning in a heterogeneous environment. Enterprise storage duties included but were not limited to Storage Resource Management (SRM), Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM), account management, software and hardware fault isolation, and System configuration management. Other UNIX responsibilities included DNS, NIS+, Database management, Software installation, Updates, and System automation (writing scripts). As Site Supervisor, I was responsible for daily operations of the multimillion-dollar enterprise system architecture in Southwest Asia.
