I have over thirty years of culinary arts experience and over fifteen years of management experience in fine dining restaurants, casual dining and cafeterias. Over the past five my culinary team lead by myself as turned the Leman Manhattan Preparatory School boarding program into one the best culinary programs in the city. I was able to achieve this goal by using my experience as a Culinary and Pastry Instructor for nearly four years. During that period of time I became fully licensed as a private school teacher in the state of New York. And recently has a Culinary Consultant for Queens Comfort in Queens New York.I am seeking the position of Culinary Director or Head Chef of the Culinary Program of a private school. I am very "hands on" chef, and believe it is important for the chef to be an active participant in the production aspect of the kitchen. To ensure that quality standards are being met without micromanaging my staff. A team, especially a culinary team must have structure, roles must be defined and expectations must be set, for the team to succeed. To achieve this goal, everyone must be held accountable good or bad while maintaining clear and effective communication. I am well versed in the needs of our modern day students when it comes to there culinary trends. From vegan to vegetarian needs, to tree nut free and dairy free options also while observing all religious needs.  I can make decisions  that my not be popular but will serve the greater good of the team as an whole. With  years of invaluable experience and the ability to think outside the box when it comes to solving problems. I am available for immediate interviews and hire.
