Specific tasks have included:- Initial appraisal and development of the Scolty-Crathes Select phase options and preparing the process Select report.- Responsible for a team of engineers progressing Select, FEED and detail design deliverables on both the Aviat and Scolty Crathes projects simultaneously. This includes delegation of tasks, monitoring of progress and design developments, maintaining continuity of design and ensuring compliance with appropriate client and industry standards. - Production of P&IDs and development of the control and operating philosophy for the Aviat and Scolty Crathes FEED & detail design to cover initial field production and operation of the facilities through to later field life.- Providing cover as lead on the project and covering additional tasks including the completion of planning and progress requirements as well as attendance at weekly client meetings.

Technical authority for the Tiffany and Murchison platforms in the North Sea, providing daily operational and project support to both assets and ensuring compliance with CNRI standards. Specific jobs have included:- Participation as process TA in project HAZOPs; approval of all project and as-built P&IDs and C&Es; review of project documentation and calculations.- Completion of offshore trips for troubleshooting or audits of documentation and procedures.- Preparation of project documentation for internal CNRI approval including budget estimation, preparation of project economic justification. Preliminary project concept design and selection to allow preparation of scope of work for the EPC contractor, WGPSN, to complete detailed design engineering.- Project lead for a number of jobs including the as-building of the P&IDs and C&E for the Tiffany platform.- Initiated and completed studies on future projects and life of field requirements, including the Tiffany water injection system, fuel gas import during low pipeline operations and the flare tip replacement.- Review of the Tiffany blowdown system requirements and compliance with the original design specification and International Standards.

- Worked as Senior Process Engineer for three months at SBM providing support for the detailed design of a turret for a BP Norwegian FPSO. - Seconded to CNRI for 10 months to complete a review of the water injection systems on the Ninian Platforms and Murchison. As part of this project we set-up a database system to monitor the performance through a series of KPIs which fed into monthly meetings between onshore and offshore. - Seconded to AMEC as a Senior Engineer on the BG Project. Completed detailed design of the Rev East subsea tie-back to the Armada platform, involved in the FEED and detail design for the Gaupe & NWS subsea tie-backs to the Armada platform and completed a number of minor operations modifications. Focal point and team lead for Armada Ops Mods.

Joined on the IChemE accredited graduate program.Worked on the Sigma3 project for 2½ years and then moved onto the BP EPC contract for a year.
