After 40 years of upper management positions in the manufacturing and retail food industries, it was time to "make a break".The original objective of Interstate Sales of New Jersey was to provide small and mid sized food manufacturers .the same purchasing opportunities available to their larger competitors.Our original base was providing seasonings and spices, as well as oils and vinegars. Our ability to provide hard to find products opened new markets including selected organics, cooking wines, denatured spirits and mustard products.We have expanded our facility and are now providing seasoning and spices to food service distributors, retail marketers, and direct sales to smaller retail groups. In addition we co - pack for a number of marketers both food service and retailOur core business remains ingredients and co - packing. Over tine a number of clients as well as others have requested input on how to increase sales and profits and development of new ventures.In order to honor these requests we have added an "arm" that works with those who have a need.Specialties: Products, co - packing,item development and trouble shooting are a big part of our success.The real catalyst has been our "MISSION STATEMENT" which is built around building a two way, win, win relationship with our clients.If our clients are successful, we will be successful. If we are not capable of filling the clients needs we will help them find other sources.Honestty, clarity in communications, and hands on control, is the only way that we do business.
