As Chief Strategic Development Officer at Touro, Steven oversees all areas of community engagement funding, philanthropic support, foundation relations, alumni relations, annual & planned giving, government funding and research grants relating to Touro Nevada's strategic partners and board. Steven leads Touro's advancement team and as a member of the President's Cabinet, he also provides strategic direction and guidance for the growth and development of Touro Nevada and the Board.

Nevada Donor Network is a federally designated 501(c)3 not-for-profit organ procurement organization (OPO) also responsible for facilitating tissue and cornea donation statewide. Founded in 1987, our core purpose is to provide hope strength and life to more than 2 million people in the state of Nevada and thousands of potential transplant recipients across the country. As Foundation President I am responsible for creating the policies, forms and processes for the Foundation to support Nevada Donor Network, Inc. As Foundation President I will be leading the philanthropy and fundraising efforts, create a culture of giving and execute the team's strategic plan for quality health and patient care. I have expertise in institutional advancement, philanthropy, board recruitment and development, fundraising and donor stewardship with local and national foundations, corporations, academic health centers, and research institutions.

As the Director of Philanthropy my role enables our organization to create impact and plays a key role in moving forward the next generation of physician leaders. My major role is to plan and implement a robust major gifts program with a strong portfolio of prospects. I am responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major individual prospects (individuals, corporations and foundations) with an emphasis on startup funds to help with the operations of the College, endowed chairs, support for research, planned gifts, and endowments in the $250,000 to $1 million or higher range. Among a wide range of duties, I am charged with increasing the number and size of individual gifts within the Las Vegas area through the planning and implementing of strategic cultivation events and programming. I work collaboratively with a wide variety of internal and external constituents as part of managing regional giving prospects and connecting central major gifts staff to appropriate staff and faculty at Roseman University College of Medicine.
