-Manage, employ, and train a platoon of Combat Engineers-Operate as site supervisor for assigned construction projects-Plan, schedule, and execute Mission Essential Task oriented training in order to maintain mission readiness.

Managing, scheduling and coordinating the execution of training events at the Regimental level.

Construction Project Manager, responsible for the development of cost estimates and employment of trade skills, heavy equipment, and materials. Trained in the use of Critical Path Method and early start scheduling. Heavy use of of coordination across multiple construction entities and resources in order to ensure projects remain on time, on budget, and conducted safely.

-Responsible for the welfare, training, discipline, and proficiency of Marines in the Platoon-Mentor, evaluate, and counsel Marines in the Platoon-Ensure the Marines in the Platoon meet all training requirements per individual training standards/training and readiness manual.-Supervise the qualification and certification process of all Marines chosen to teach assigned Program of Instruction (POI) classes.-Ensure that all personnel are properly qualified and trained to handle explosives and other munitions related to training and the support of the POI.-Assume the duties as NonCommissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC) for all assigned ranges or training evolutions as required.-Provide and implement updates to Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) with regard to the conduct and execution of ranges, training, and various incidental collateral duties assigned to Marines.-Plan, coordinate, and execute training events in support of the company's mission of training student lieutenants. -Project future manpower needs and deficiencies and advise senior leadership on the utilization of manpower assets-Provide a direct link between external agencies and the Platoon's operations in order to execute a wide spectrum of tasks and missions related to the training of lieutenants. -Assume the role as Platoon Sergeant when he/she is absent.

Trained and mentored over 600 student lieutenants annually on topics including but not limited to: Mobility, Counter Mobility, Field Fortifications, Assault Breaching, Demolitions, Employment of Engineer assets, Defensive and Offensive operations.

Manages and processes requests and usages of Live Fire ranges as well as 54,000 square miles of training areas aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico for the Range Management Branch.Ensures all rules and regulations are enforced and that usage of all training facilities falls in line with guidelines set forth by the Marine Corps and Base Commander.Coordinates training with a multitude of Federal Agencies and off base Department of Defense organizations.

Protection of classified information and equipment vital to the national security of the United States at American diplomatic posts.Provide security for visiting American dignitaries and assist the Regional Security Officer in supervising host country and/or locally employed security forces which provide additional security for the exterior of embassies.The secondary mission of Marine Security Guards is to provide protection for U.S. citizens and U.S. Government property located within designated U.S. Diplomatic and Consular premises during exigent circumstances, which require immediate aid or action.

Responsible for the tactical employment of the 7.62mm medium machine-gun, the 50 cal., and 40mm heavy machine-gun, and their support vehicle. Machine gunners provide direct fire in support of the rifle squads/platoons/companies.
