It was the first year of high school that I started programming. I did not think much of it initially, until there was the project to create a simple flash game. By the end of that project, I realized the sheer reach of computers and programs: Virtually every field have at least one problem or job that can be helped, if not taken over by a well designed program and computer. Since then, I picked up knowledge from multiple sectors, such as determining the efficiency of programs, information security, computer networks, etc. I strongly value both simplicity and practicality. I hold the belief that when possible, one should break a design or problem down to make it easier for others to understand and cooperate. Similarly, I believe that it is always in one's interest to evaluate problems, designs, etc. under realistic circumstances. Currently, I am an undergraduate CS major student interested in cybersecurity, databases, and a minor interest in game development. I am open to learning different fields related to software, and enjoy solving problems. I am experienced in development using Java, with moderate proficiency in Scala.Email: phamsteven@gmail.com
