• Manage a Market portfolio of commercial and middle market credits and provide leadership and guidance to Credit Managers, Credit Analysts, and Commercial Loan Specialist Teams • Manage all the credit underwriting (annual review, renewals, and new facilities) and credit administration functions of the Lending Regions assigned (Market), including the monitoring of loan covenants and loan delinquencies.• Work in conjunction with the Market to develop business in high growth markets.• Ensure adherence to Risk Policies, implement operational risk processes, policies, and practices and drive business successes.• Serve as the leader on commercial loan structuring and risk based pricing. • Ensure Credit Management staff within the Market is knowledgeable of and operates within the Bank’s Risk Appetite Principals and the applicable regulatory and compliance guidelines and procedures.• Approve new loans, renewals, and annual reviews within the delegated credit approval limits established by the Bank and make recommendations on all others. • Interpret and apply the Bank’s credit risk and operational risk management strategies within the Market.• Build and maintain productive relationships with all business partners within the Market and across the Bank.

· Manage the full range of commercial and retail banking activities within the Manhattan South region of TD Bank including a $550MM commercial loan portfolio, $30MM small business loan portfolio and $3.4BN deposit portfolio.· Responsible for the recruitment, development and management of the regional commercial lending team consisting of 9 commercial lenders, 6 credit analysts, 2 portfolio managers and 1 administrative assistant.· Responsible for developing and implementing regional sales strategies, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, expense monitoring/control, management reporting and all other functions normally associated with a regional management role.· Consistently met or exceeded regional loan, deposit and fee goals resulting in substantial net loan portfolio growth.· Responsible for maintaining portfolio credit quality and ensuring the bank’s risk rating methodology is consistently applied through the diligent application of existing credit policies including the annual review of all existing credits.

· Responsible for a diverse loan portfolio comprised of privately held commercial and middle market companies located throughout the metropolitan area as well as the origination of new business including, but not limited to, loan, deposit, insurance, investment, trade and cash management product sales. · Responsibilities also included providing credit support to other team members as well as the branch network.

· Managed a staff of three credit professionals responsible for the financial analysis and continuing risk assessment of all new and existing business. · Managed all aspects of a $1.1BN portfolio, which included covenant compliance monitoring, legal documentation maintenance, limit monitoring, MIS reporting and other administrative functions.

· Supervised all aspects of various branch audits from the planning to report stages. · Supervised various off-site audits of ABN branches and subsidiaries.

· Actively involved in auditing various Chase departments and subsidiaries. · Completed Chase audit training program.
