I have a master's degree in communication from Florida State University, where I also received the Graduate Leadership Award and presented my research at several academic conferences. Currently, I am the Director of Training & Development at Risepoint, where I support the strategic initiative of the Senior Director, create critical training content for leadership and outside departments, and oversee the timeline and expectations for the training team that supports the business's training needs.In my previous role as a Corporate Trainer and Associate Director of Training at Wiley Education Services, I was responsible for on-boarding new hires across various departments, training material creation within learning management systems, and business-wide standardization of training processes. I also hosted any necessary ad-hoc trainings and technology implementation as part of change management. With the help of my colleagues, I also contributed to talent acquisition, graphic/content creation, database management and training (Salesforce), company-wide communication management, and employee performance evaluation.
