Responsible for the DFW market area IFP(Integrated Fiber Planning) design overbuild team. The IFP Overbuild initiative is intended to overlay PON architecture to all customer locations to select geographic areas within targeted Wire Centers to increase ATT fiber footprint including business, residential (SFU & MDU) and mobility demand. Managing a team of 18 design engineers and 6 contract design vendors.Key Roles and Responsibilities:• Managing the planning, design, and development activities, including the management of first level managers for the outside plant facilities/network. • Manages preconstruction activities. • Ensures that work processes, standards and master plan are in conformance, and that schedules are adhered to. • Reviews work orders, projects and has approval authority. • Manages and controls allocation of resources and materials.• Responsible for managing an outside plant engineering design group. • Responsible for oversight of construction budget and complex project management activities. • Responsible for training, evaluating and managing performance evaluations of direct reports. • Influences decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Manages teams of technicians responsible for day-to-day construction or digital electronics activities such as the installation, turn-up and maintenance, placing, splicing, rearrangement, and/or removal of Outside Plant (OSP) including digital facilities. Manages teams of technicians responsible for the testability of remote terminals and the backup power of remote terminals during power outages, including, but not limited to, equipment deployment, fueling, equipment retrieval, remote testing/clearing of alarms and status.Key Roles and Responsibilities:•Plans and assigns work to technicians. •Reviews technician performance and provides feedback and coaching to technicians designed to address performance issues. •Conducts safety and quality inspections to ensure high quality and safe performance by technicians. •Identifies and removes roadblocks to safe and efficient performance by technicians. •Ensures that technician training is complete. •Administers discipline to technicians and makes recommendations concerning long term suspensions or terminations of technicians. •Receives technician grievances and resolves them at the step one level as appropriate. •Ensures that work processes, standards and master plan are in conformance, and that schedules are adhered to. •Responsible for utilizing Management Systems & Operations Control (MSOC) based techniques to manage technician efficiency, performance and customer service.

Developing and administering contract administration policies, systems, procedures and methods.Key Roles and Responsibilities:•Provide interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations.
