I am a financial professional with over 16 years of varied experience in the banking industry that includes multiple branches and positions. I started as a Customer Service Representative and advanced through almost every branch role at Coast Capital Savings. I spent 10 years of my branch experience in management. The latest Branch Manager position was managing two branches in downtown Vancouver with a team of 14 staff. My management style is to create a culture of inclusion and teamwork through leading by example. More recently my experience and knowledge was requested outside of the branch for the role of Retail Policy Manager. I worked with various stakeholders to create and implement the procedures, training, and system updates required for the new Consumer Protection Framework Regulations. I also worked on several other initiatives including correcting regulatory gaps I identified which helped me gain valuable project and compliance experience.
