Contract position with OAO Technology Solutions to provide operational support for numerous healthcare specific applications and interfaces across multiple platforms including Windows 2000/2003 and various Unix servers within HIPAA compliance. Administration of systems consoles for errors, manage systems availability, production scheduling and control, daily computer processing jobs and reporting, service level support, backup and recovery, and maintenance of the disaster recovery plan with Tivoli Storage Manager. Manage erroneous incidents utilizing defined Problem and Change Management Policies and Procedures. Maintain stock items inventory using Oracle’s Peoplesoft. Assist Help Desk / Desktop Support with first-tier user troubleshooting. Perform field calls throughout the hospital to solve desktop and peripheral device problems.
