Building wider relationships to ensure knowledge is shared.• Maintaining up to date knowledge of legislation and policy. Attending training and ensure legislation such as Care Act 2014 and Human Rights Act 1998 are embedded into the inspection methodology.

Eastbourne

• Full involvement with end to end process of commissioning and tendering for contracted care providers. Regular participation on tender review panels and extensive experience of local government contracting arrangements.• Worked in partnership with contracted care providers to ensure their service provision was responsive to service user need and provided outcome focused comprehensive packages of care, safely and effectively.• Forged excellent relationships with private care providers in East Sussex and Brighton and Hove. Working closely to ensure that monitoring and reviewing processes were in line with contracted standards.• Tasked to raise the standards of care and working practices of contracted providers within East Sussex, through inspection and audit on a scheduled and reactive basis.
