As a strategic leader and educator in export compliance, I support the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) in enforcing export regulations, conducting reviews, and providing stakeholder training and guidance. With over 12 years of experience at BIS, I have developed and applied communication, leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to contribute to our nation's and society's advancement and security.I also leverage my extensive background as a soldier in the U.S. Army, where I served in various roles and locations and received multiple awards and honors. In addition, I teach business leadership and management courses as an adjunct instructor at American National University, using my Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and Master of Science in Criminal Justice credentials. I am passionate about mentoring students and assisting faculty in designing and delivering engaging and relevant course material and presentations.
