Leader of drug discovery efforts for the US Cardiometabolic Diseases Research (CMDR) department in Ridgefield, CT by providing strong scientific, organizational, and portfolio direction including development and continuous adaptation of the cardiometabolic strategy to ensure strong pipeline delivery. Successful achievement of objectives evidenced by publications in high impact journals.Earlier career roles included Research Project Leader for two projects with assets (BI 685509, BI 764198) currently in phase 2 trials for CKD. Proactively and successfully led efforts to achieve expansion of these assets into other disease indication trials (clinically significant portal hypertension, systemic sclerosis) via collaboration with external researchers and colleagues from partner therapeutic areas.
