Field Services Engineer
CurrentResident Field Service Engineer, Plano, Tx• Operate, maintain, and service T250, T310, and T480 HP Page Wide Web Presses (PWP). • Provide onsite same day service for client (HP’s customer).• Create Break-Fix cases through HP, troubleshoot equipment, perform repairs, and order parts as needed.• Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment and keep presses in good working order.• Maintain onsite Up Time Kit inventory for press consumables and frequently used parts.• Provide daily detailed report (pass down) to HP and client.• Provide daily detailed Service Assignment reports for HP cases worked on each day to Bell and Howell using Salesforce and Field Service Lightning (FSL) app. Reports provided time details, labor details, signed off by client, and available to HP and client.FSE PWP Skills• Knowledgeable experience with Digital Front End, Job Submission, Imposition Manager, Site Flow/JDF, etc. running on Windows and Linux servers.• Knowledgeable experience with Durr Megtec float IR drying systems, Ink Distribution Systems, print bar & printhead digital and electromechanical systems, Inline Process Control, Videk inspection station, EMT winders, and EMT perforators.• Knowledgeable experience in installation, leveling, and tramming of press finishing equipment.• Knowledgeable experience with servo drives, PLC controls, pneumatic controls, load cell transducers, web guides, solenoids, actuators, pressure switches, photo interrupters, encoders, etc.• Knowledgeable experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment i.e., pressure gauges, optical fiber tester, DVM, power, temperature, web tension analysis (VNC process trending), etc.• Knowledgeable experience with electromechanical troubleshooting and programming using Tera Term, Smart Motor Interface, VNC Viewer, B & R automation PVI Manager, WINcc (Siemens controllers), itools (Eurotherm), and Webcal (Flowline). • Intermediate working knowledge of ICC profile creation.
