Assistant Director Saudi Railway Polytechnic (KSA) Responsible for The overall management of the Saudi Railway Polytechnic contract in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. • Provide leadership and direction to the Polytechnic management team by setting SMART goals and the provision of the overarching operational framework.Ensuring compliance with standards, including the adherence to quality frameworks, policies and regulatory requirements.• Ownership of the annual business plan and accountable for the delivery of the P&L, as well as other business objectives.Ensuring optimised staffing levels whilst safeguarding high quality technical and academic training is being provided to the learners at SRP.• Promoting the interests of the business through the development of strong relationships with Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR), regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.• Ensure the development of staff, including succession planning and CPD.• Liaise with the corporate enabling functions on a regular basis to ensure the business is adequately supported, including HR, finance and operations.• Provide regular performance updates to the Head of Direct Delivery KSA.• Ensuring the business complies fully with all health & safety requirements and all laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Lead the development and completion of all training programs, course materials and assessments and compilation of monthly reports.Meet regularly with Saudi Arabia Railway board of Directors.Management of a large team of Instructors and Support Technicians, including recruiting, appraisals, coaching, training, discipline etc.Attend meetings with Operating Companies for training purposes.Responsible for setting up and maintaining the Internal Quality Assurance system for the Polytechnic and ensuring compliance with awarding body ensuring that the quality of all the programs is maintained.Directly liaison with the External Quality Assurer and coordinate visits and audit's as appropriate ensuring Quality Control is maintained. Develop and manage teaching and assessment schedules and perform Technical Instructor, English, Health & Safety, ICT and Mathematics teaching staff observations.Guide and offer assistance to Saudi Arabian Railways in best practise.Selection of appropriate and additional equipment and modern training methodologies.Undertake annual staff appraisals and performance reviews.
