Its boards are responsible for setting congressionally-authorized standards and qualifications for real estate appraisers and provide voluntary guidance for all valuation professionals. Deep experience in financial reporting (e.g.,purchase price allocations, impairment testing, fresh start accounting), tax valuations, M&A and litigation support/expert testimony. Valuation and assessment of intangible assets has included patents, tradenames, franchises, customer relationships, earn-outs, and non-compete agreements.
