Served as leader in development & implementation of visual factory, 5S, and related Lean management principals throughout the plant. Served as leader in the development and implementation of a site wide digital metrics dashboard. This dashboard displayed a complete overview of the sites production lines in real time. This dashboard worked in conjunction with established OEE and waste data to highlight processes in need of attention. The purpose of this project was to easily delineate areas of attention to mitigate daily firefighting, allow for a culture focused on continuous improvement, and to increase the data report resolution from one day to a minute-by-minute basis. Work on this project involved managing a cross functional team to develop and deliver a product that exceeded the expectations of the key stakeholders. Responsible for the deployment & continuous improvement of 5S within the plant. This included 5S in all manufacturing areas, which accounted for over 35,000 square feet within the facility. Coached associates on correct 5S implementation within their work area and led classroom training on 5S organizational principles.
