Oversaw Sevatec’s $120 million per/year Agile delivery and operational performance for the National Security Business Unit, executed Sevatec’s Customer Care objectives, and engaged in strategic growth initiatives across the firm.

Led growth initiatives and provided operational leadership for Sevatec’s Federal Civilian portfolio, including work at the Departments of Transportation (DOT), Homeland Security (DHS), State (DOS), Labor (DOL), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Led and managed a team of Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Public Safety) responsible for executing the outreach, state consultation and state plan activities of the program to expand access to the nationwide public safety broadband network using knowledge of and experience in the telecommunications sector, and public safety communications operations within the 27 states/territories located at FEMA Regions VI-X. In addition, served as Co-chair, Human Capital Resource Committee; Chair, Customer Care Integrated Task Team; and Champion, 911 Functional Community.

Led and managed a team of 1000+ federal and contractor IT professionals providing day-to-day IT operational and strategic execution of enterprise governance, standards and processes to integrate ICE vision, mission, and objectives into a synergistic portfolio of programs and projects. With a focus on performance, customer-care, partnership, collaboration, transparency, flexibility, efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity to deliver timely, reliable and effective IT solutions to those carrying out the ICE mission. In addition, served as a member of the DHS CIO Council, Chairman of the ICE-IT Executive Steering Committee, and Co-chair of the Diversity Advisory Council.

Led development and execution of customer-centric programs that accelerate FHWA mission and goals in a unique “fee for service” organizational model; comprised of 200 federal civilians and contractors supporting over 3,500 customers in 63 locations nationwide. Periodically served as the Executive Associate Director Management and Administration, and routinely performed duties of the Chief Information Officer. The SNLC- PO was responsible for comprehensive oversight and support in areas that include, foreign policy development and adherence, international knowledge sharing, customer service management, technical expertise, quality assurance, budget formulation and execution, IT portfolio management and cyber security compliance. Developed and implemented long-term strategies and policies to increase innovation in the global Information Technology services for our National Leaders; adding value to the National Command Authority’s ability to communicate globally. Assisted in the Planning-Programming-Budgeting and Execution process in direct support of the Agency's responsibility to provide Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA) to the Defense and National Command Capability program with a procurement budget more than $500M.

Led and guided the EES Operations organization and provided authoritative advice on development, implementation, and enhancement of Department of Energy’s (DOE) information technology and enterprise architecture strategies, policies, and procedures on a $1.4B/7year DOE contract awarded to EES; P&L responsibility over $160M/year. Collaborated with Federal Counterparts to align OCIO strategic objectives with customer organizations across DOE. Developed and promoted use of comprehensive IT policies and procedures.

Co-chaired the Agency Program and Corporate Review Boards, Served as Technical Advisor and Team Member on the Presidential Support Assessment Committee and on the Standards Sub-Committee for Heads of State Communications, and Executive Office of the President’s Information Technology Working Group, Principal Information Technology (IT) Liaison for the Agency in 30+ countries, Senior Operational Advisor to the Agency Director on Strategic Planning and served on the Business Continuity Planning and Human Capital Planning Committees, and as the Agency’s liaison to external organizations (i.e., Congress, DoD, DoS, DHS, NSA, GAO, etc.).Oversaw a matrixed workforce of approximately 1100 personnel providing worldwide premier communications and information services to the President and Vice President of the United States, the National Security Advisor, the White House Staff, the United States Secret Service (USSS), and others as directed by the White House Military Office (WHMO), enabling them to lead the nation effectively. Led a 112 member staff of solution architects and engineers in the development and implementation of Information Technology and Operational support plans to safely deploy and sustain the workforce and 50 million pounds of equipment in the provisioning of secure and non-secure long-haul telecommunications services, audiovisual and graphic support, wireless communications, video teleconferencing, voice conferencing, data computing, and related services (Tier 1, 2, 3) on more than 6000 successful domestic and international deployments. Coached and mentored staff to improve and enhance performance, adding value to the President’s and Vice President’s ability to communicate effectively and efficiently from anywhere in the world at any-time.
