The opportunities that are afforded to local, national and international designers will give them the opportunity to a market that hungers for such an illustrious event. We are not an untapped market, we are a market that will tap into you. Our beautiful beaches and year round summer heat draws millions each year during our winter season, which is known as the snow-birds paradise. The shows will include runway shows, exhibitions, presentations and networking opportunities aimed at both highlighting the work of Florida’s local fashion professionals while including international fashion designers whose merchandise can be found locally and internationally. The official Fashion Week West Palm Beach® 2014 program will consist of a highly interactive experience to raise awareness of the local, national, and international fashion scene; this will be a venue for fashion editors, vendors, fashion insiders, the press, locals and non-locals, designers, and other fashion professionals to mingle. The goal is to present the entire region’s designers’ work in a friendly atmosphere amongst current and potential colleagues from around the world. Here at Father Figure, I follow the word of God in Psalms, 68:5 A Father to the Fatherless,a defender of widows,is God in his holy dwelling. I uphold that scripture because it allows me to embrace others for what I suffered with in the past. Father Figure is about building the mind and spirit to weather the storms of life and to keep a positive mindset to wind on every hand. to empower one that have been told otherwise is my forte.

My involvement with so many outlets have allowed me to show my gifts and talents. Before I ventured off onto starting my own businesses, I have been heavily involved in the world of fashion since the early 90's. My first fashion show I was involved in was at Morehouse College, at the time I was just assisting with the set up. .In the mid 90's, the Olympics came to Atlanta, right after that Atlanta became the mecca for Theatre, Fashion, Entertainment & Celebrities. The thriving city open up a plethora of events for me to be involved. That involved great interaction with putting together the venues, hiring the proper people to MC, Judge, and Advertising etc. The main ingredient was my personality. To build a rapport with so many entities require a humble heart and the ability to work with anyone. I was successful in all my business ventures in the Ballroom scene my name became known as having sophisticated and tasteful events. My business ventures would bring people from all over the United States as well as stars would come and even sit on my panel. During my run in Atlanta and Miami, FL.' Collectively I generated over $65,000.00 dollars in revenue for my ventures that consisted of smaller venues. I've learned the ins and outs of how to really put together a over the top show, being a part of the uprising of the mecca of the south, allowed the extravagance and excellence goes hand in hand. In 2010, I removed myself from that environment to try my hand at acting &singing in my church (House of God International Ministries, Riviera Beach, FL) Where I am not the choir administrator. I participated in several plays at my church that required us to remember quite a few lines as well as heavy acting. Because I knew that my gifts needed to grow. Since I walked away, more doors have opened for me to not only produce shows, but also host them..
