I always try to aim high! It's not enough to just have a job. I am currently working full-time, studying full-time and doing the odd side-hustle here and there. In the precious spare time I have, I love being down at the beach with my wife and daughter and on occasion, I even get out the ol' surfboard. When it comes to business, I am currently working as a Client Service Officer at Integrity Financial Advisory. Arranging meetings and using Xplan to prepare client files for review. I also have experience as a Risk Analyst at Westpac in their Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention division. There, I became adept with AML/CTF compliance and KYC legislation while emphasising a high priority on customer interaction, risk mitigation and consequence management. I study at UniSA most nights to complete my Bachelor of Business in Financial Planning. I love everything finance! If you ever want to talk about money, or the economy, or investing, come talk to me, I won't shut up. In what feels like a previous life, I have also been an electrician for over 16 years. I have proudly run my own business for just over 5 of those. These years taught me to focus on the best ways to solve an array of different types of problems. I have worked solo, as a mentor, working 1 on 1 to train apprentices and as a project manager in charge of teams to complete bigger projects. Working in industrial, commercial and the residential home down the street, taught me how to effectively navigate many different environments and work with many different types of clients, always working closely with them to achieve their desired results. My goals in life are relatively simple. To one day have my own financial planning firm, to travel to as many countries as possible (I'm up to 17 so far) and finally, I can't wait to see the person my daughter grows up to be.
