CurrentI coach managers and their teams as they navigate through change. Particularly as it pertains to businesses that are changing to operate for a more sustainable world and the changing economy from linear to Circular. Beginning in 1977 I worked as a trained graphics professional in various capacities within the industry. It was my last position as manager for the book design department in a major publishing company that led me to become a coach. Being responsible for meeting the company’s goals of profitability during a time of change, my challenge was to lead a group of talented, creative people to meet company goals of productivity. My personal goal as an artist and manager was to provide a positive environment that simultaneously valued their creativity, productivity and professional growth. Much of my work involved asking thoughtful and engaging questions, so that each staff member could recognize their unique strengths and talents and how to best apply those talents within a rapidly changing work environment.
