Roles included working at JSU Northwood Establishment and on-board warships HMS Albion (Assault Troop Carrier), HMS Dumbarton Castle (Fishery Protection) and HMS Enterprise (Survey).Working with a team of up to 20 other chefs and catering managers.Flexible hours working (8 to 12 hours per day) on a rota of 70 days on then 30 days off.Part of a team responsible for the catering requirements of up to 1000 personnel.Solely responsible for the catering requirements of up to 75 personnel.Assisting with issuing, ordering, receiving and storing of provisions.Logging the above mentioned stores on to the computer system and filing all paperwork accordingly.General stocktaking and cleaning of all storerooms, fridges and freezers.Planning weekly menus for the ship.On site refresher training for Health and Safety/Food Hygiene with monthly exams.First aid team member assisting the medical personnel on-board.Member of fire fighting party.
