Steven is the Executive Vice-President.for CPG Consultants (Architecture). With more than 30 years of international working experience and 18 international architectural awards, he now specialises in the design of large mixed-use developments, resort hotels and high-end condominiums, having acquired a comprehensive knowledge in all stages of projects and has a complete understanding of construction processes, site supervision and project management in the successful implementation of his designs in PRC, Singapore, UAE, India and Vietnam.Steven's architectural language is defined by the sensitive place making of the projects with rational, precise yet imaginative forms and these designs have won numerous architectural awards in the PRC and Singapore.Simplicity and focusing on salient matters inform his designs and establish firm grounding to the masterplan designs, resulting in simple and elegant solutions.Never believing that a problem only entails a single solution, Steven strives for solutions that balance the intricacies of a design brief and of the site, showing his dexterity for range and versatility as a designer.Steven believes that for architecture, it is important to look into the fundamentals of any design issues and to solve them at the level of first principles.
