I run a comprehensive hand surgery practice. The goal is to deliver quality patient care. I strive to practice with patients in mind: less waiting, knowledgeable and caring staff, and (if needed) skilled surgery.

I helped develop a surgical division in the poughkeepsie location for a large multispecialty group. Personally, I covered hand emergency coverage for 3 hospitals in the region and developed a busy elective practice. I underwent several training courses to hone my skills at new techniques, such as wrist arthroscopy, wrist and finger joint replacement, endoscopic management of carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndromes, as well as administration of xiaflex for Dupuytren's Disease.

I did dedicated training in hand and upper extremity surgery. This included heavy exposure to trauma and amputation, peripheral nerve surgery, surgery for complex hand and wrist ligamentous and tendon injuries. I completed a microsurgery course and performed these techniques in the OR regularly. Common conditions treated included carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures of the hand and distal radius, trigger finger, and tennis elbow.

Training in many facets of surgery, including the diagnosis and managment of inpatient and outpatient surgical problems, surgical critical care and trauma. Had significant subspecialty exposure including hand surgery, plastic surgery, urology, cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery as well as 'core subspecialties' such as surgical oncology, breast surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, transplant, pediatric surgery and vascular surgery.
