17 june 2021, after 30 years starting a all new chapter at Unilin as a technology lead.previous experience :29 years of experience in developing high end innovative industrial products.Starting the development at the very beginning by defining the product up to the introduction on the market. My expertise covers in general all the different aspects of this process, going from product definition, concept and architecture, engineering, supplier cooperation, testing and production support.More specific are the domains of mechanical development and the design of the product.8 years as a people manager in an innovative R&D department, leading a team of mechanical and thermal engineers working together in a worldwide environment. I do like this global approach, travelling abroad and combining the different insights of the different countries involved.Initiator and organizer of several global company programs combining similar expertises and skills over the several divisions of a multinational. Bringing people and expertise together to influence efficiency and knowledge, organizing the tools and structures of the company to improve quality. All this in the domain of mechanics and the broader sense of product design.During my career I was involved in several new start ups. Aswel new technologies popping up on the market (DMD - ELCOS - Laser - laser phosphor) as on complete new product ranges (clickshare). This by using my design skills to add creativity and passion to the product development.
