The Army JROTC Program emphasizes character education, student achievement, wellness, leadership, and diversity. It is a coopertive effort on the part of the military services and host institutions to produce successful students and citizens, while fostering in each school a more constructive and disciplined learning enviroment. Our goal is to develope citizenship, character, and leadership communicate effectively, Improve physical fitness, live drug-free, strengthen positive self-motivation/esteem, learn the historical perspective of military service, work as a team. Fort Knox, Ky

IGs will inquire into, and periodically report on discipline, efficiency, economy, morale, training, and readiness through the Army. IGs teach skills, provide information and assess attitudes while assisting, investigating, and inspecting. Assist commanders in setting standards of behavior and appearance. IGs pass on lessons learned to enable others to benefit from past experience. Here travel was endless our team covered all Army recruiting activities for the United States and three countries. We would plan our inspection trips months in advance, each assistant IG member would rotate being the trip planner for the week. This consisted of all flight, rental car and hotel reservations for a team of fifteen. Most of the team would fly where the Recruiter Battalion Head Quarters was located and spend the week inspecting, field IGs like myself would either fly or drive whichever was cost effective, to inspect/ teach and train the Company and three recruiting stations then head for the Battalion for the out brief of my findings.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Area

Managed seven Army recruiting station covering all of Northeastern Oklahoma, responsible for ensuring the company and stations obtained their monthly goals of new enlistees. Task with training station commanders to be successful managers in marketing, planning and coordinating sales activities. While still ensuring the recruiters conducted and maintained themselves as soldiers, and still going to leadership schools and conducting physical training daily.

Fort Jackson, Sc

Responsible for the morale, welfare, discipline, training, professional development and readiness of 88 assigned instructors/soldiers. Principle advisor and the eyes, ears and conscious to the company commander on matters involving all enlisted soldiers; the Recruiting and Retention School had in attendance up to 600 soldiers monthly.

Fort Jackson, Sc

Instructor/writer and evaluator for the Recruiting Battalion Commanders Course and Company Commanders Course; responsible for training over 300 students annually, writing and maintaining current lesson plans and programs for instruction and exams. Also in charge of daily physical fitness program for the recruiting school.

Muskogee, Ok

Managed and guided eleven recruiters in the Muskogee Army Recruiting Station to success. Provided leadership with purpose, direction and motivation to all subordinates while achieving monthly recruiting goals for the station in accordance with applicable regulations. Responsible, for the administrative duties along with the daily success of the recruiting station. Trained soldiers with little or no sales experience to become fully functional Army Recruiter.
