About Steven Weintraub

Ever since he was a child, self-taught Executive Chef Steven Weintraub has had a passion for food and mastering the art of cooking.” Before the creation of the food network, as a boy I started watching chefs cook on television and was always amazed how they could create something so delicious and eye appealing while making it look so simple”. Prior to joining Borenstein Caterers in September of 2007 a fully owned subsidiary of ELAL Israel Airlines, Chef Steven was the Executive Chef of Atria Senior Living Group on New York’s Upper West Side, one of the nation’s finest Senior Retirement Facilities. Chef Steven also worked as the restaurant Chef for the world renowned Norma’s in the Le Parker Meridian Hotel, voted New York’s best breakfast and home of the $1000 dollar frittata. Over the course of his career, Chef Steven has honed his skills at some of New York’s finest Catering firms under world-renowned chefs, including Wolfgang Puck, Bob Spiegel and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. He prepared meals for many notable dignitaries, heads of state and for the prestigious International caterers Tentation Potel & Chabot and Creative Edge Parties. Having global experiences and influences, Chef Weintraub’s modern and unassuming cooking style will bring a fresh approach to any menu.
